The posts have held it very strong even with wild winter winds banging the trash cans against it. The metal posts have holes every couple of inches along their length. I picked 3 or 4 holes and screwed directly through them into the wood with a long galvanized wood screw.

Good luck!Patricia Newporthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13938087624130364268noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4730906156465291755.post-90335003524350275772013-05-28T19:57:44.990-04:002013-05-28T19:57:44.990-04:00Do the metal poles keep the fence stable? This would make ...You could use concrete I suppose. This would make the fence a more permanent feature. You would also need to fasten each pallet to its neighbor for a length of fencing. I wouldn't use the steel fence posts in that case, I would go ahead and measure out the spacing for each pallet and cement in wood posts, then attach the pallet from there. The beauty of the steel post system is that you can move it any time you need to. They do hold very strong just banging them in the ground. In my case, there have been instances where we needed to get a vehicle into the back yard to trim trees, so this works great for us.

Good luck!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03979491131183998468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4730906156465291755.post-13767611055671604332013-03-27T23:28:45.285-04:002013-03-27T23:28:45.285-04:00Do you know if you can put them posts in concreate...Do you know if you can put them posts in concreate? I feel confident it will look CUTE and not so "recycled" palletish as my husband feared. He is now on board to help enclose the pool with pallets. THANK YOU!!!
